Turkey!

Hi blogger readers! I landed this afternoon in Istanbul, Turkey. The semester is almost officially half-over, though I have another three-week adventure tacked on the end in May. After some sad farewells to Marianne (she headed back to Montpellier), we left Rome and Italy behind this morning. Now, since it's the first chance at internet in over a week, I'm sitting in my hotel room on the sixth floor, listening to the call for prayer echo out on the loudspeakers across the Turkish downtown shopping district. And I'm getting my Italy posts ready so you can read about the adventures (and misadventures) that happened there. Get ready!
